About Dr. Alex Hagar, DDS
Dr. Alex Hagar grew up in Middle Tennessee before attending college in Nashville, TN. His studies took him all over the Eastern part of United States, before he returned to his home state when he joined Tennessee Valley Oral Surgery. He loves golfing, cooking, and spending time with his fiancé, McKenzie, who is a physical therapist.

∙ Growing up, his family had two Tennessee bobcats (half-breed) named Bonnie and Clyde.
∙ He's currently learning to fly fish, and is open to any suggestions!
∙ Dr. Hagar loves to cook in his spare time.
Why Oral Surgery
Dr. Hagar's favorite part of practicing at TVOS is the people. He says, "I think we have a great environment where we are able to provide a family atmosphere for both our staff and patients. I find that our interactions with others to be one of the most rewarding aspects of patient care."
Favorite Part of Practicing at Tennessee Valley Oral Surgery
Dr. Hagar chose Oral Surgery because he enjoys all facets of the specialty. When he was in dental school, he found studying the Oral and Maxillofacial specialty enjoyable and still does. He says, "I think the combination of knowledge and skills that we get to utilize on a daily basis is very unique." He feels very grateful to be a part of this specialty and practice what he loves on a daily basis!
