Non Surgical Brow Lift

Surgical Brow Lift
A brow lift is a facial cosmetic surgery performed to rejuvenate the skin above the eyebrows, reducing the appearance of aging. Also called a forehead lift, this surgery is designed to tighten the skin between the eyebrows and hairline and often performed alongside a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) for a harmonious facial regeneration. A brow lift can be performed to improve brow positioning, reduce forehead wrinkles, address sagging brows and minimize “worry” or “frown” lines.

Throughout the aging process, eyelids and the surrounding tissues stretch and accumulate excess fat. This results in sagging, droopy eyelids, bags under the eyes, and excess skin surrounding the eye area. These signs not only age a patient, but can also result in reduced vision, especially in the upper area of sight which the eyelid now covers as well as, in severe cases, the outer peripheral.
Because of the possible health concerns which blepharoplasty addresses, this procedure is sometimes covered by insurance. The procedure may be combined with ptosis to provide additional support in the eye area if the severity of the situation warrants it.
The surgery is performed in an outpatient setting and may temporarily result in watering eyes, pain, swelling, bruising, and blurred vision. Patients will be advised to keep the eyes covered with dark sunglasses when outside to reduce irritation from sun and wind exposure.
Bruising and swelling from the surgical procedure usually dissipates within two weeks and minimal scarring may continue to fade past that.

LATISSE® is an FDA-approved prescription treatment for too few, short, inadequate, or thinning eyelashes. LATISSE® grows fuller, longer, darker eyelashes. Patients apply the solution to the upper lash line daily, with results appearing steadily over time. It is recommended to use the product for at least two months to see full results. If use is discontinued, eyelashes will return to their original length and density.
